As I have followed my interest in Near Death Experiences and other Spiritually Transformative Experiences, it's become so important to connect with others who have similar interests. Sometimes it's just knowing I'm not the only one who has these inclinations, that maybe I'm not just turning into a weirdo after all. :-) It's fun to read how important your connections with other artists have been to making your own art.
Thanks, Rick, for yet another fascinating spectrum of art and its many voices… what I call the glue that binds us one to another. I especially enjoyed seeing Julie’s sculpture. Lovely. I was studying art at the University of Alaska in Fairbanks in 1966-68, mostly, in those days, passionate about sculpture, until Lennie Kesl appeared and led me down the rabbit hole of painting.

Happy you’re part of the ‘wierdo’ club with me!
It's an honor!!

Thanks Galen. I'll pass nice words to Julie. And just grateful each time I get to be inspired by your amazing paintings.
