". . . this willful state of not knowing." What really intrigues me about this phrase, what it's attempting to describe, is how similar it is to describing meditation. So many talk about meditation as an entry point to "higher or other dimensions," for lack of a better description. So, to deliberately enter a meditative state, when creating art or experiencing art, does sound really inviting.
