Great memory prod! All those kids' TV shows we didn't want to miss, on the warm, fuzzy memory side. All the futzing, then waiting we had to do, in order to get 12 or, if we were lucky, 24, or 36(!) b&w photos is a memory on the pain-in-the-butt side of things. Not to mention the tragedies like you experienced with your Brownie.

Thanks Steve! PS. l also took my Brownie camera to a huge Chicago theatre downtown Loop (by myself, maybe age 11-12), to shoot an event--top-10, AM radio-rated rock /singes/bands (song "Staggerlee" w/singer was there, I think)--ALL LIVE ON STAGE, with DRAGNET STAR JACK WEBB there too (star of a major movie called "THE DI" <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-3zqGyK10c>). I stepped into the aisle of the full theatre, started framing my photograph-to-be, and the manger was right on me, "No SHOOTING PICTURE, LITTLE KID!" So 2 for 2!
