Of course I love this sentence/phrase: ". . . the only really "safe" path in life is to go directly for one's dream "full out," but what else appeals to me so very much is how, often, no matter how polished and professionally prepared and produced most movies we see are, the energy we encounter watching an improvised story, being told/acted by "actors" relying mostly on their true selves rather than their "acting chops;" is such a treat. (That is not to deny the essential need for, and value of, skilled and creative editing. But, even edited, that "reality" treat remains.)

Yes, that freshness of improv is hard to beat! And like in MORGAN’S CAKE, if the editing is solid, people actually think it’s a real movie!
