You know I must seize on these sentences: "Just getting straight inspiration, developing psychic energy from what is happening in daily life around you. Only with what I call a filmmaking antenna can the artist receive the necessary ideas/miracles it takes to make a good film/video." KNOWING that the ideas/miracles are there, waiting, IS the antenna.

The thing is, each time I’ve needed those ‘Production Miracles’ I never imagined them coming, nor could I even identify WHAT I actually needed ahead of times (some times). And when they DID come during productions I accepted that they might not be there NEXT time. What I now think is that that help is available to me. to everyone, when they enter their own “quest-zones.” (Maybe even everyday, but they don’t notice it’s happening…)

TRUTH!! Sometimes it's not knowing, but just believing it CAN happen. That not knowing, but going ahead anyway, is so admirable.

Well, actually many artists (all artist, the real kind) just don’t THINK ABOUT IT, but just jump in to try to get to work, even riting, sculpting, painting in the middle of the night like Anton Gintner did for months, on oil landscape he traded to me for an EMERALD CITIES video cassette: (painting pictured in my TREASURY OF ART (PART 1): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B3Q4ZKDN

That "just jumping in" is a beautiful thing. I spent way too much of my life starting things, (music, art, writing), then quitting because of doubt and over-thinking. It really wasn't until I read a poem by a poet named Chelan Harkin, who wrote in free verse (instead of trying to fit words into a framework of rhyme and meter), three years ago, that a light went on and the poems just started coming, once I felt like they were waiting for me to write them. All I needed to do was have an image or a couple of lines and the flow was turned on. You're right: "Just jump in ... "
