Wow! This plays right into a thought train I was riding this morning: "We all love stories and, in one way or another, 'making up stories,' even if it's 'just' imagining stories around whatever is playing out in front of our eyes and ears, as we move through our days. What if we take that creative imagination a step further and contemplate the possibility that WE are writing our OWN stories and have the same 'power' and 'author-ity' to write the stories we desire?" (Instead of thinking they're being written FOR us, by some other perceived power, authority, or storyteller, before whom/which we're powerless.)

I’d say I’ve felt this at times. “The flow” of decisions and generating what-ifs sometimes feels like pre-directed from some unknown source.
